12. What is a Plebiscite? plebiscite is a popular vote on a proposal which includes the entire populace. Voters are asked to either reject or accept the proposal, with the outcome of the plebiscite determining the fate of the proposed measure, action, constitution, or other political proposal. A plebiscite should not be confused with a general election or regular voting, as no party candidates are included in it.
22. What is a bureaucracy? bureaucracy is a large administrative structure tasked with carrying out unnecessarily complicated procedures and rules to ‘facilitate’ duties of the entity. It consists of multiple bureaus, petty officers, “red tape” and excessive waste. Bureaucracies are most often associated with governmental bodies, particularly at state and federal levels, but any large entity, such as a corporation or school district, can be bureaucratic in nature. An “efficient bureaucracy” is an oxymoron.
25. What were decree-laws? Within the legal system, a decree refers to a rule of law issued by someone in authority, such as a head of state. The term more commonly refers to an order of judgment made by a court of equity. A court generally issues this type of edict after hearing a specific lawsuit but can issue temporary decrees as well. Temporary decrees are called "interlocutory" and stand until a final decree is entered at the conclusion of the suit. A decree also can be a proclamation made by an official such as a head of state, and it typically involves a new rule of law.
30. What is a Cabinet Minister? A cabinet minister in Canadian governments is a member of the cabinet, or government executive, usually responsible for a government department.
36. Who elects Congress? Each state is divided into districts according to population. Larger the population, the more districts. Every state is guaranteed at least one Representative. Each district within each state elects a Representative to the House.

46. What are the superior courts? In common law systems, a superior courts a court of general competence which typically has unlimited jurisdiction with regard to civil and criminal legal cases. A superior court is "superior" relative to a court with limited jurisdiction (see lower court), which is restricted to civil cases involving monetary amounts with a specific limit, or criminal cases involving offenses of a less serious nature. A superior court may hear appeals from lower courts

35. What are the functions of the Senate?   • 2. 12. What is a Plebiscite? plebiscite is a popular vote on a proposal which includes the entire populace. Voters are asked to either reject or accept the proposal, with the outcome of the plebiscite determining the fate of the proposed measure, action, constitution, or other political proposal. A plebiscite should not be confused with a general election or regular voting, as no party candidates are included in it.
  • 3. 22. What is a bureaucracy? bureaucracy is a large administrative structure tasked with carrying out unnecessarily complicated procedures and rules to ‘facilitate’ duties of the entity. It consists of multiple bureaus, petty officers, “red tape” and excessive waste. Bureaucracies are most often associated with governmental bodies, particularly at state and federal levels, but any large entity, such as a corporation or school district, can be bureaucratic in nature. An “efficient bureaucracy” is an oxymoron.
  • 4. 25. What were decree-laws? Within the legal system, a decree refers to a rule of law issued by someone in authority, such as a head of state. The term more commonly refers to an order of judgment made by a court of equity. A court generally issues this type of edict after hearing a specific lawsuit but can issue temporary decrees as well. Temporary decrees are called "interlocutory" and stand until a final decree is entered at the conclusion of the suit. A decree also can be a proclamation made by an official such as a head of state, and it typically involves a new rule of law.
